This project receives the heaviest truck traffic possible, with over 300 trucks in and out of the area daily during the summer months. Road used by Schmitz Ready Mix, Zignego Ready Mix, and Wissota Sand & Gravel.
The 3-dimensional reinforcement that fibers offer helps redistribute the shrinkage stresses, which provided superior results, witnessing no random cracking outside of the control joints for years. On the contrary, the wire mesh side of the road had multiple random cracks between joints within two months after placement.
