Great Lakes Cheese added additional exterior slabs for their increasing truck traffic in Plymouth, Wisconsin. The contractor, Martell Construction, had less experience with macrosynthetic fibers. They preferred fibers to rebar & mesh, and were happy about the results of the project.
FORTA Ferro worked well in the exterior pavement application at a dosage rate of 5-lbs per cubic yard. The fibers were successfully broomed, and the slab finished nicely.
